Hello from New Jersey! Today is a beautiful day, cold, but sunny (quarantine has gotten to us haha). Despite this, I have been recently working, editing, and learning more about blogging. However, the main reason for this blog post is, we switched our blog theme to a paid one!!
For those who need an introduction, welcome to Miriam and I’s website, Creamy Codfish! We have been blogging for one year about all things books, travel, and our school lifestyle.
What We Will Be Posting
During 2020, we uploaded 1-2 times a month here on Creamy Codfish. This year our goal is to upload 4-8 times a month. We are also currently in the midst of setting up a newsletter list and applying to adsense.
But, in terms of what content we will be posting shortly, we have a very exciting recap of a new release coming soon because The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes recap did well. We also have some more travel and blog content coming very, very soon so keep your eyes peeled.
Unfortunately, the virus has halted many people’s travel plans, so we are going to be putting up travel content that’s more accessible as well as more book recommendations and reviews. Despite this, I’ve been trying to be more productive with our time so I’ve created a series called ‘Sarah Says’ in which I’ll just talk about life and school that can hopefully be informative to others. I recently posted my first blog post in that series. ‘Miriam Says’ will be coming in the near future (fingers crossed).
Lastly, Miriam and I have been more active on Pinterest, if you want to check it out.
Thoughts on the New Blog Theme
Getting and paying for a new blog theme feels very surreal, considering we’ve been wanting to get a new blog theme for almost six months. We love the look of the blog theme, so it was completely worth the money! In an opposite vain, since we’re planning to upload more on the blog, please don’t hesitate to request a blog through our contact page.
To conclude, make sure you and everyone around you stays home to continue being healthy and safe!
