In the wake of perhaps one can say the most influential album release week ever, Taylor Swift kicks off her European leg of the Eras Tour in two weeks. As someone who watched Taylor perform during her North American leg, and soon her European leg, I’m going to tell you everything you need to be ready for! Are you ready for it….?

New Eras Tour Tracklist

It’s widely known that because Taylor has released The Tortured Poet’s Department, it will most likely make an appearance. It’s also widely speculated that she’s adding it onto the permanent setlist, not just as surprise songs. That said, it’s obvious that Fortnight will probably mark it’s place permanently (and a less popular song like Mastermind will be removed). I do think we can expect at least two permanent TTPD songs on the setlist, so Fortnight and one other!

Furthermore, I’d recommend briefly looking at the tracklist to time out bathroom breaks. For me I choose You Need to Calm Down.

Know the Openers…or Don’t!

For those who don’t know, Taylor has had artists perform before her show on the Eras Tour. For the entirety of this European leg, Paramore will be opening. My biggest tip is if you enjoy Paramore, make sure you get to your seat early so you can hear them, if not, take the time to buy merch, food, or go to bathroom. For me, when I went to the North American leg, my openers were Gracie Abrams and Phoebe Bridgers, both artists I enjoy, so I listened to both. However, it’s worth noting, the sound quality won’t be as good as Taylor’s performance, so don’t expect another concert.

Bring Snacks and Warm Clothes

In my experience towards the end of the show (& night), it begins to get chilly, especially if you’re in higher upper seats like the nosebleeds. I would also say bring some sort of raincoat/protection because if one things for certain, Taylor will perform and put on a show in the rain!

Don’t forget to bring your own snacks because all the food in the stadiums will be pricey (make sure food’s allowed of course and make sure you meet the bag requirements if there are requirements).

Merch

Don’t wait hours for merch! Trust me one of my biggest mistakes was getting to the stadium early and waiting 2+ hours for merch. In my stadium, and nearly all the other ones, there are merch booths inside. Taylor’s website also had her merch so I’m sure she’ll make it available online for those in Europe too. Know that the size’s run very, very large!

Comfortability Over Everything

The performance Taylor puts on is three whole hours. Don’t ruin your experience by wearing an uncomfortable outfit or shoes. You’re going to want to be standing and moving for the entire performance, so make sure you’re not only well rested, but wearing good shoes. I’d skip any heels or new shoes!
