Repetitive. Many plot holes. Things left unfinished. Forced and rushed ending.

Plot Holes

1) What happened to Stef and is Caro going to be reborn?
2) Stef was mentioned a couple times, but then she tells Jules to go to one of her relatives house to get a clue on how to find the dagger and the relative ended up being on the sorceress’s side. At the end of the book, it is mentioned that Caro swallowed some of her heart so is she going to come back to life like the alchemist?
3) When creating a magic system, you must specify its boundaries, price and effect (which the author did not do).
